Working from the theme of "Friller," this is my first skirt block. It is constructed from five seperate layers on the front with a scalloped waistband and three layers on the back also with the scallop section hanging from the waistband.
I then decided to change the block so that the skirt layers would hang all the way around without stopping at any seams so made one big block. I am then going to put a zip down the back of the skirt so it can be worn with ease. Now all that is left to do is to start cutting my fabric!!!
